News and Announcements

as of 3/28/20:

There will be no services till Sunday 4/12.

Due to the current state of our nation, we have decided it would be best to air on the side of caution and cancel church service and Sunday School. We are not feeding into the frenzy but we are choosing to be careful verses being careless during this time of uncertainty.

Its easy to panic and feed into the craziness, but remember God is in charge. The corona virus may be harmful to humans, but it cannot harm our powerful, loving God. Its important to remember the God has given us the courage we need to face each day, we just need to trust Him and love Him.

If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us at winthropcongchurch@outlook.com. We wish everyone a safe and healthy week.

Construction Update:
The project encompassed removing a column that was holding up the roof that had sunk about 7 inches. It is a wonder that the building didn't fall down. God certain was watching over us.
We have finished the major part of the construction project. Now the hard part believe it or not has began. The project cost over $200k and has left us with no money. We have to start over as a church and make some major changes to how we operate as a church. We want to be a blessing to the community and share God's love with the world. We won't be able to do that if we have to close the building.

Check out our GofundMe page to give if you feel called to do so.
